Infused pre-rolls are pre-rolled joints with a concentrate added, such as liquid diamonds, distillate, kief or hash, to raise the THC well above regular flower. The concentrate can be mixed into the flower, coated on the outside, or both. They burn longer and hit much harder than a standard pre-roll, so take it slow.
Types of infused pre-rolls
| Infusion | How it’s added | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Liquid diamonds or distillate | Oil mixed into the flower or injected through the centre | High THC, even burn |
| Kief or hash | Mixed in, or the outside rolled in kief | Strong, slower burn |
| Diamonds or rosin | Crystals or rosin in the core | Very strong, can burn unevenly |
Infused pre-roll vs regular pre-roll
- Strength: infused versions can carry far more THC per gram than flower alone.
- Burn: slower and stickier; keep it lit with steady puffs.
- Price: higher, because concentrate costs more than flower.
- Flavour: often stronger, especially with terpene-rich infusions.
How to smoke one
- Light it evenly by rotating the tip in the flame.
- Take small puffs and wait between them. Infused pre-rolls are strong.
- Watch for runs. If one side burns faster, touch the flame to the slow side.
- Share it, or put it out and finish later; you don’t have to smoke it all at once.

Common questions
Are infused pre-rolls stronger?
Yes, much stronger than plain flower pre-rolls. Start with a puff or two.
Do you smoke a whole pre-roll?
No need. Put it out and save the rest, especially with infused ones.
Are pre-rolls and joints the same?
Yes. A pre-roll is a joint that comes already rolled.
Why does my infused pre-roll keep going out?
Concentrate makes it burn slower. Take steady puffs and relight gently when needed.
