Step by step
- Remove the cart if your battery charges through the thread on top.
- Plug into a low-power source: a computer USB port or a standard phone charger brick.
- Watch the light. Most blink or glow while charging and turn green, or switch off, when done.
- Unplug once it’s full. Typical charge times are 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Charging safely
- Use the cable or charger made for the device, and avoid high-wattage “fast” chargers.
- Don’t leave it charging overnight or unattended.
- Charge on a hard surface, not a bed or couch.
- Stop using any battery that’s swollen, cracked, leaking or gets hot.
- Recycle dead batteries and disposables at a battery drop-off, never in the garbage.
What the lights usually mean
Patterns vary by brand, but commonly: 3 to 10 rapid blinks means the battery is low or there’s a connection problem; a steady light while plugged in means charging; green or off means fully charged. Check the packaging for your model.
