Aroma and flavour

GSC is usually described as sweet and earthy with a minty edge; some reviewers also pick up cherry or lemon notes. Its most common terpene in lab data is caryophyllene, which brings a peppery spice.

Lineage

GSC combines OG Kush, one of the most influential West Coast strains, with Durban Poison, a South African sativa. It went on to parent many popular strains, including Do-Si-Dos and much of the Cookies family.

Indica, sativa and what to expect

Strain names and types are a starting point, not a guarantee. Studies of real cannabis products have found that labels don’t reliably predict a product’s chemistry, and two batches with the same name can differ. Read the product label for THC, and see Does indica make you tired? for why.
